Remote Intern / Peer Mentor – Another Degree

AnotherDegree.com is a newly launched platform offering expert mentorship, program development, and learning resources to support diverse learners seeking advanced degrees (JDs, MDs, MBAs, MAs, MSs, PhDs, and more).

Founded by a former UCLA and University of Washington faculty member and academic program director, our mentorship collective includes professors, CEOs, lawyers, medical doctors, best‑selling authors, and entrepreneurs, along with curriculum designers and educational technologists.

We are currently offering a small number of remote Intern and Peer Mentor opportunities for current students. While this is an unpaid internship, the selected individuals will be eligible for revenue sharing on learning materials created, social media content, and referral codes. Interns are also eligible for free graduate school consulting sessions from our mentors. This internship does not guarantee future employment with Another Degree.
The timeframe and weekly hours are flexible, with an expected commitment of 5–10 hours per week, adjusted to meet your school’s requirements.

Founded by a former UCLA faculty member and administrator, Another Degree is an independent mentorship collective specializing in graduate and professional school admissions guidance and preparation, research coaching, and academic career support. We work with individuals and institutions across disciplines. We invite experienced educators to join our curated mentor network.

About the Role
Mentors provide one-on-one virtual advising to clients preparing for graduate and professional school. Depending on your background, you may also support clients as a research/dissertation coach or academic editor.

We value experienced, empathetic education professionals who will help clients pursue ambitious goals while providing clear feedback, strategic scaffolding, and actionable next steps.

Mentors may also contribute to training materials for incoming junior mentors, write blog content, assist with curriculum development for institutional partners, or lead virtual workshops or lectures on topics related to graduate admissions, research design, and academic success.

These roles are fully remote, there are no minimum hours or quotas and can be scheduled around your availability. As a newly launched company, we welcome candidates seeking a casual or part-time role, with potential for expanded hours as our operations grow.
