Dr. Laura, Ph.D., is a historian of the Holocaust with broad experience in research, teaching, and public history. She earned her Ph.D. in History from American University, with prior degrees from SUNY Albany (M.A., History) and Boston University (B.A., International Relations/History, cum laude). She has held fellowships and research appointments at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, including as a Sosland Fellow at the Mandel Center and as a researcher and author for the Encyclopedia of Camps and Ghettos. Dr. Laura has also taught at American University and worked on major public-facing projects with the National Archives, the Capital Jewish Museum, and the Sandra Bornstein Holocaust Education Center, where she now serves as Director of Education and Programs.
