Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program at UCLA (expected July 2026), Amy has honed robust research skills through interdisciplinary projects that integrate advanced neuroimaging, neuromodulation, and behavioral data analysis. Her work investigating treatment approaches for autism at UCLA has accumulated into an expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis, and substantial training in academic teaching and mentorship. She's partnered with UCLA’s Undergraduate Research Center, Life Sciences department, and Grad2Grad peer-mentorship program to create online resources, lead workshops, provide one-on-one coaching, and consult on student career planning. Amy is particularly committed to tailored, equity-minded mentorship—adapting guidance to students’ backgrounds (first-generation, low-income, neurodiverse, and underrepresented learners) to promote access, persistence, and success in academia.
